Join Pink Kelpie at Glasgow Pride — Saturday 18th July!
Pride season continues and Pink Kelpie Volleyball Club is delighted to be back on the streets of Glasgow city centre for Pride Glasgow, Saturday 18th July!
We're starting the day at the Arch, where you'll find us from 11:10am ready to welcome the community, meet new faces, and celebrate everything that makes Pride so special.
After the march, the celebrations move to Merchant City, where community exhibitor stands, food vendors, and the main festival activities will be set up in the open air. Expect a brilliant variety of stalls from local charities, creative makers, and LGBTQIA+ organisations — including us! The main festivities run from 12:00pm until 8:00pm across Merchant City, centred around Brunswick Street, Bell Street, and Candleriggs.
Once the march comes down through the city centre, we'll be moving our stand to Wilson Street, right in the heart of the Merchant City action — so if you miss us at the Arch, catch us there instead.
Whether you're a seasoned Kelpie, curious about volleyball for the first time, or simply out enjoying the parade and festivities, come find us. We'd love to say hello, tell you more about the club, and share what makes Pink Kelpie such a welcoming, inclusive space for LGBT+ people and allies of all abilities.
Pride Glasgow is always a brilliant day — the atmosphere in the city centre is unmatched, full of colour, music, community spirit and pure joy. It's a chance to stand together, be visible, and celebrate how far we've come, while remembering why representation and community still matter so much.

So whether you're marching, spectating, or just soaking up the ambience of the day, start with us at the Arch from 11:10am, then find us on Wilson Street later in Merchant City. Fun for all — that's the Pink Kelpie way, on and off the court.
See you there, Glasgow — let's make it a day to remember! 🏳️🌈🏐
